Great news to start off 2024 for the UK: VAT on period pants has been lifted.
The move from classing them as 'garments' to 'period products' means they now fall in line with the legislation made in 2021 to end tax on 'essential goods' such as tampons and sanitary pads.
Smiles and thanks all round to those who campaigned to make this happen.
