It took me a while to realise my fatigue a few years ago was iron related. I was below the recommended levels when my doctor tested me and even with good diet and supplementation, I'm now much higher but still in the lower range. My doctor says this is good enough, yet a nutritionist has recommended for optimal health a much higher level is needed. So I've been learning lots about the different sources of iron. The journey continues!
